Check-in

1. How can I check-in for the flight?

Check-in depends on the type of airline you plan to fly with. If you have selected regular airline (LOT, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot, Ukraine Airlines, etc.), check-in is done at the airport. Some airlines require online check-in for specific routes (free of charge), but there are not many of such flights, and you will be informed about their registration procedure by emails and notifications in self-service portal. When checking-in for the flight at the airport, you must provide an electronic ticket and a valid identity document and visa (if it is necessary for your chosen destination). If you have selected a low-cost airline (Ryanair, Wizzair, etc.), check-in will be performed for you online by Lektuvubilietai.lt flight managers and sent to your email. If you have not submitted your personal data in our flight booking systems, you can do it at the airport for additional fee (Ryanair ~50 EUR, Wizzair ~30 EUR).

2. What are the deadlines for check-in for the flight?

Check-in deadlines differ depending on the airport. You are responsible to find out check-in deadlines and follow them. Check-in at the airport for the routes in Europe ends 45 minutes before the departure. Flight time is always indicated on the ticket. Check-in for international flights ends 60 minutes before the departure. Flight time is always indicated on the ticket.

3. How can I check-in for the flight when purchasing low-cost airline tickets?

When purchasing flight tickets of low-cost airlines (Ryanair, Wizzair, airBaltic, etc.), on Lektuvubilietai.lt website, it is necessary to enter the passengers’ data on Lektuvubilietai.lt website in order registration could be performed. This can be done by clicking on the link that will be sent along with the flight ticket payment confirmation letter. After the entry of this data, Lektuvubilietai.lt team shall check-in you and send boarding passes no earlier than six days before the flight by e-mail. The boarding ticket must be printed out. In case, if you forget or lose your ticket, you will have to print it out at the airport. Please, note that this service is paid. Registration fee is set by each airline.

4. Should I proceed to the registration desk if I have checked-in on-line and have only hand luggage?

If you have checked-in online and have a printed out boarding pass with you, upon arrival at the airport you can immediately proceed to the security check point.

5. Where should I proceed upon arrival at the airport if I have checked baggage with me?

If you have checked baggage and you have a boarding pass, upon arrival at the airport you must first deliver your luggage to one of the check-in desks, and only then proceed to the security check point. In this case, we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight. The registration ends 40 minutes before the scheduled departure of the aircraft. Please note that passengers who are late to check-in are not accepted on the plane.

6. Do I have to print out my boarding card in colour?

Not necessarily, boarding cards can be printed in black ink; it is the most important that the barcode is clearly visible.

7. What should I do in order to change the flight date or passenger’s personal information?

Rules on change of flight ticket dates and passengers' personal data are established by each airline. The flight tickets of low-cost airlines (Ryanair, Wizzair, airBaltic, etc.) are non-returnable, and the charge for change of passenger's personal data may be even several times higher than the price for flight ticket. Regular airlines allow changes, however, for a certain charge. Each case is unique, thus in order to make changes, please contact Lektuvubilietai.lt team.

During long-haul flights, meals are usually included in the ticket price, and passengers are offered meals even several times during the flight. It is always allowed to carry own snacks, food to the plane. For more specific information, please contact Lektuvubilietai.lt team.

9. Are passengers offered entertainment during the flight?

Airlines offer a variety of entertainment to their passengers, which often depends on the duration of the flight and, of course, the airline. During long-haul flights, passengers can watch movies, TV shows, listen to music, or even play computer games. This can be done with a screen integrated in front chair.
